Hawaii Army National Guard Soldiers from a variety of units within the 103rd Troop Command start the 2 mile run (2MR) event during the Army Combat Fitness Test, Waimanalo, Hawaii, April 2, 2021. The 2MR measures aerobic endurance, which is required for conducting continuous operations and ground movements on foot. The six-event readiness assessment, ACFT, is intended to replace the current three-event Army Physical Fitness Test, which has been around since 1980.
