JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO - FORT SAM HOUSTON - (July 28, 2021) Chief Navy Counselor Luis Benn, of Arroyo, Puerto Rico, a division leading chief petty officer assigned to Talent Acquisition Onboarding Center (TAOC) Alamo City, was promoted to the rank of senior chief petty officer by Cmdr. Stephani Simoni, acting commanding officer, Navy Talent Acquisition Group (NTAG) San Antonio at the Warrior and Family Support Center. Benn, who joined America’s Navy in 2000, had his insignia pinned on by his wife, Aixa. NTAG San Antonio’s area of responsibility includes two TAOCs which manage more than 34 Navy Recruiting Stations and Navy Officer Recruiting Stations spread throughout 144,000 square miles of Central and South Texas territory.
