A civilian care giver with the Indian Health System administers a vaccination to a member of Leech Lake Ojibwe community on August 10, in Cass Lake, Minn. The IHS worked in conjunction with the U.S. Army Reserve's 807th Medical Command (Deployment Support) as part of an Innovative Readiness Training mission, called Walking Shield, that provides badly needed medical care to underserviced Ojibwe and surrounding communities of the Leech Lake Reservation. This IRT also provided important training for Army Reserve medical personnel. (U.S. Army Reserve photo by Sgt. 1st Class John Freese, 88th Readiness Division Public Affairs Office)
