210823-N-RP125-1006 BAUCAU, Timor-Leste (Aug. 23, 2021) Utilitiesman 2nd Class Jamey Hawk (left) and Builder 3rd Class Sean Cregan, both assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 5, bend rebar for the prefab phase of the four-room schoolhouse. The U.S. Navy Seabees with NMCB-5 are constructing the schoolhouse to support the local Ministry of Education. NMCB-5 is deployed to the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations, supporting a free and open Indo-Pacific, strengthening a network of allies and partners, and providing general engineering and civil support to joint operational forces.
