210824-N-RP125-1003 BAUCAU, Timor-Leste (Aug. 24, 2021) Builder Constructionman Dylan Taylor, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 5, uses a hydraulic rebar cutter to cut rebar for the prefab phase of the four-room schoolhouse. The U.S. Navy Seabees with NMCB-5 are constructing the schoolhouse to support the local Ministry of Education. NMCB-5 is deployed to the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations, supporting a free and open Indo-Pacific, strengthening a network of allies and partners, and providing general engineering and civil support to joint operational forces.
