The United States Air Force Band perform for Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling Honorary Commanders at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, Washington, D.C., Sept. 14, 2021. Using music to bridge language, cultural, societal and socio-economic differences, The United States Air Force Band’s performances strive to advance international relationships and inspire positive and long-lasting impressions of the U.S. Air Force and the United States of America. The Honorary Commander’s program allows JBAB to establish and maintain personal contact with local civic leaders in order to increase public awareness of the missions, policies, and programs of JBAB and the United States Air Force. The program also aims to build mutually beneficial relationships between military installations and local communities. (U.S. Air Force photo by Tech. Sgt. Corey Hook)
