U.S. Air Force Gen. Arnold W. Bunch, Jr., Air Force Materiel Command, speaks during an All-Call at Los Angeles Air Force Base, California, Oct. 26, 2021. Bunch, along with U.S. Air Force Chief Master Sgt. David Flosi, AFMC command chief, spoke on numerous topics concerning AFMC’s declaration of Initial Operational Capability as the U.S. Space Force’s Servicing Command for all Space Force installation-assigned Airmen. The Department of the Air Force created this unique and first-time serving MAJCOM structure to ensure Airmen assigned to the Space Force receive the same development opportunities, functional and administrative support as those as U.S. Air Force Installations.
