Spc. Joshua Liu, a native of Ashburn, Virginia, and World Class Athlete Program Soldier-athlete, completed his selection requirements to the USA Taekwondo World Championship Team by winning the Mexico Open held in June, and Taekwondo National Championships held in August as well as having met the ranking points requirement. Liu will look for a fourth major win at the postponed 2021 Grand Prix Final in Palm Beach, Florida, before competing at the postponed 2021 World Taekwondo Championships in Wuxi, China.
