U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Randy Hornberger, a food service specialist with Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 112, cuts yams for a dish during the annual Multinational Force Culinary Competition at Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, Japan, Dec. 16, 2021. The MCAS Iwakuni Food Service Office and the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force hosted the competition to recognize food service excellence and teamwork by testing participants’ culinary skills within a set time limit and requiring the use of pre-determined ingredients for their dishes.
