U.S. Air Force Capt. Matthew Kellogg, a pilot assigned to the 171st Air Refueling Squadron at Selfridge Air National Guard Base, Michigan, flips a switch in a U.S. Air Force KC-135 stratotanker currently assigned to the 506th Expeditionary Air Refueling Squadron during exercise Sea Dragon 2022 Jan. 19, 2022, near the Philippine Sea. The intent of this mission was to train P-8A Poseidon pilots to tank with the KC-135 during antisubmarine warfare while tracking a simulated submarine target known as an expendable mobile anti-submarine warfare training target.
