Jacob Chadderdon, a combat engineer and construction equipment operator with the 713th Engineering Company based in Valparaiso, Indiana, drives a skidster to help plow snow in the motor pool and transport fuel for the state active duty inclement weather highway patrol team in Gary, Indiana. Chadderdon volunteered to come from his hometown of LaPorte to assist with Operation Blizzard Blast.
