JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (Feb. 10, 2022) - Lt. Cmdr. Katie Buel, a physician at Naval Hospital Jacksonville’s Family Medicine Clinic, teaches a session during an Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics class. Buel holds a doctor of osteopathy degree from Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. She is a native of Oswego, Illinois, and says, “I support health and readiness through full-scope, patient- and family-centered care.” The Navy Medical Corps is composed of physicians from over 30 specialties and subspecialty areas.
