U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Europe District Project Engineer McCabe Stanley checks on concrete placement that is part of construction of a larger Army Prepositioned Stock project being built in Powidz, Poland March 17, 2022. The APS facility, largely funded by NATO, involves the construction of roughly 650,000 square feet of humidity-controlled warehouse space, a vehicle maintenance facility and several additional supporting facilities and will contribute to the ability to rapidly deploy forces if needed to reassure allies and deter aggression.
