U.S. Army Command Sgt. Maj. Lisandro Peralta, with the 2nd Battalion, 113th Infantry Regiment, New Jersey Army National Guard, presents a coin to Albanian Armed Forces Staff Sgt. Kamber Levenishti, a combat medic and nurse, for excellence after his role in performing a tactical combat casualty care demonstration, April 5, 2022, at Zall-Herr garrison, Albania. The demo was part of a workshop designed to determine future means to increase medical familiarity, interoperability and safety between the U.S. and AAF military personnel. The more than 20 year New Jersey–Albania Partnership is one of 22 European partnerships that make up the U.S. European Command State Partnership Program and one of 65 worldwide partnerships that make up the National Guard State Partnership Program.
