U.S. Army Forces Command leader Command Sergeant Major Todd Sims watches as Commanding General Michael X. Garrett, practices his grenade-throwing abilities. The general was given a realistically colored M69 Practice Grenade at the hand grenade station of the 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment’s Spur Ride on March 23rd at the National Training Center. The station is one of 10 set up around the training area, and each must be cleared to earn a set of silver spurs.
