A Trooper assigned to the 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment briefs General Michael X. Garrett, Commanding General, United States Forces Command, at the National Training Center (NTC), Fort Irwin, California, on Spur Ride requirements. NTC is located at Fort Irwin, one of the Army’s premiere training sites, and is where soldiers competed on March 23rd, to prove their physical toughness, technical expertise, and knowledge of unit history, in order to earn a set of silver spurs and be acknowledge as a spur holder.
