A specially built AlumaPro Rescue Watercraft is shown wearing U.S. Border Patrol and U.S. Customs and Border Protection markings at Lake Elephant Butte State Park, New Mexico, April 14, 2022. The AlumaPro watercraft has been specialized for water-rescue with a rigid aluminum hull, grab-bars on the nose and vertical grab tower. Additionally, a flexible towed rescue board can be seen behind the watercraft. BORSTAR candidates are put through a rigorous course to test their mental and physical stamina, teamwork and decision making under pressure.
