Arizona Army National Guard combat medics with the 996th Area Support Medical Company, transport their simulated patient on a litter to an awaiting UH-60L Black Hawk helicopter crewed by Soldiers from the 2-285th Assault Helicopter Battalion, during a medevac exercise, April 23, 2022, at Florence Military Reservation, in Florence, Ariz. The patient, a high-fidelity human simulator, was then flown to HonorHeath Scottsdale Osborn Medical Center and transferred to medical staff who were standing by. This joint military/civilian exercise between the Arizona National Guard and HonorHeath Military Partnership program, provided Soldiers and civilian medical personnel the unique opportunity to interact and train on casualty medevac with a UH-60 Black Hawk.
