Medical personnel from the HonorHeath Scottsdale Osborn Medical Center receive a simulated patient from an Arizona Army National Guard UH-60L Black Hawk helicopter assigned to the 2-285th Assault Helicopter Battalion on the medical center’s helipad during a joint military/civilian medevac exercise, April 23, 2022, in Scottsdale, Ariz. The joint exercise between the Arizona Guard and HonorHeath Military Partnership Program provided Soldiers and civilian medical personnel the unique opportunity to interact and gain experience in patient transfer from a military aircraft at the Level I trauma center.
