USAID and HEPCA have worked together to protect natural resources and educate Egyptians and tourists on the importance of environmental conservation efforts.
The U.S. Government helped fund HEPCA’s state-of-the-art Bio Boat, which serves as a floating classroom to carry out environmental education along the Red Sea coast. The boat provides access to a hands-on, interactive, and fun learning atmosphere where Egyptian students get excited about conservation and gain an appreciation for the biodiversity of the Red Sea.
