Two girls from Qulaan village proudly show off their own designs of traditional handicrafts. Each jeweler has their own section at the small market and can set prices and sell independently of one another.
Partnership between USAID, HEPCA, and the Government of Egypt provided basic services and promoted handicrafts, small local enterprises, and employment in the growing tourism industry along the Red Sea coast.
