An Iowa Army National Guard Soldier assigned to the mortar platoon in Headquarters & Headquarters Company, 1st Battalion, 133rd Infantry Regiment, and a member of the Kosovo Security Force, prepare to fire an M224 60 mm lightweight mortar system during a live-fire exercise at Camp Atterbury, Indiana, on May 29, 2022. Approximately 15 KSF troops embedded with companies in the 1-133rd Infantry during a two-week annual training exercise. Senior leaders in the IANG and KSF visited each company near the end of the exercise to observe the full integration of KSF troops and recognize Soldiers who demonstrated excellence throughout their training. The tour was also an opportunity for KSF leaders to gain a more comprehensive understanding of IANG training requirements, equipment and logistics. (U.S. Army National Guard photo by Staff Sgt.
