Command Sgt. Maj. Ricky Ayala and Lt. Col. Garrett Gingrich, the senior enlisted leader and commander of the 1st Battalion, 133rd Infantry Regiment, “Ironman Battalion,” Iowa Army National Guard, present a plaque to a member of the Kosovo Security Force at Camp Atterbury, Indiana, on May 19, 2022. Approximately 15 KSF troops embedded with companies in the 1-133rd Infantry during a two-week annual training exercise. Senior leaders in the IANG and KSF visited each company near the end of the exercise to observe the full integration of KSF troops and recognize Soldiers who demonstrated excellence throughout their training.
