BALTIC SEA (May 20, 2022) – Boatswain’s Mate Seaman Lucas Martinez signals Landing Craft, Utility (LCU) 1662, attached to Assault Craft Unit (ACU) 4, onto the shores of Estonia, May 20, 2022. Kearsarge Amphibious Ready Group and embarked 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit are participating in the Estonian-led exercise Siil 22 (Hedgehog 22 in English). Siil 22 brings together members of the Estonian Defense Force and U.S. Sailors and Marines under Task Force 61/2 to enhance Allied interoperability and preserve security and stability in the Baltic region.
