Students raise their hands in a classroom during a May 2022 study tour to Jordan organized by USAID/Yemen for Yemen Ministry of Education (MoE) curriculum and training specialists to support their development of early grade reading and mathematics curricula. Yemeni participants met with the Jordanian Minister of Education, the Jordanian Supreme Council of the National Center for Curriculum Development, and the USAID/Jordan-funded Early Grade Reading and Math Project. They also conducted classroom visits to see how the curriculum has been implemented in practice.
