Coast Guard Sector San Juan celebrates the unit's change of command ceremony June 16, 2022 in San Juan, Puerto Rico. During the ceremony, Capt. José E. Díaz relieved Capt. Gregory H. Magee as the commander of Coast Guard Sector San Juan. Capt. Diaz will be responsible for leading Coast Guard forces in Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands and the oversight of a 1.3 million square nautical mile area of responsibility in the Eastern Caribbean.
