Cmdr. Charles Rainey, A Physical Therapist with the U.S. Public Health Service, and Capt. Samantha Nuenthel, a Nurse with the 119th Medical Group are taking part in a Combative’s course designed to teach basic self defense skills during the Tropic Care Innovative Readiness Training (IRT) 2022 on the island of Kaua’i. This is just one of many additional trainings IRT service members can participate in to bolster their skills outside of their usual speciality along with building joint service cohesion.
