Japanese volunteers comb through the dirt and clay in a World War II-era Japanese cave in Okinawa as they search for the remains of U.S. Marine Pfc. John Quinn, Jr. Quinn was last seen entering the cave on June 29, 1945. This is the first time a joint U.S. / Japanese team has searched for the missing Marine.
