U.S. Navy Hospital Corpsman 2nd Class Edward J. Cochrane, a field medical service technician with Bravo Surgical Company, 3d Medical Battalion, prepares to receive the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, Marine Corps Base Hawaii, June 30, 2022. On Jan. 12, 2022, Cochrane saved the life of Chief Hospital Corpsman Elmer Aquino, with Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command Pearl Harbor.
