Cryptologic Technician (Collection) 1st Class Corey Richtberg, from Northport, New York,, assigned to USS Gerald R. Ford's (CVN 78) intelligence department, presents the cremains to be interred at sea to Cmdr. Homer Hensy, Ford’s chief engineer, during a burial at sea ceremony on the ship’s aircraft elevator 3, July 12, 2022. During the ceremony, the cremains of 30 souls were committed to the sea in the Atlantic Ocean. Ford is underway in the Atlantic Ocean conducting an independent steaming operation.
