PACIFIC OCEAN (July 8, 2022) – Gas Turbine System Technician (Mechanical) 1st Class Nakona Brawner performs maintenance on a landing craft, air cushion (LCAC) assigned to Assault Craft Unit (ACU) 5 off the coast of San Clemente Island, July 8. Conducting maintenance is necessary to prevent corrosion on equipment. Makin Island is currently underway conducting routine operations in U.S. 3rd Fleet.
