The Adjutant General of Oregon, Maj. Gen. Michael Stencel and Oregon Air National Guard State Command Chief Master Sgt. Dominic Ingle visit with Maj. Richard Hosmer, Commander, 102nd Weapons of Mass Destruction - Civil Support Team (CST), Oregon National Guard, at the CST’s operations center, near Hayward Field, University of Oregon, in Eugene, Ore., during the World Track and Field Championships, July 16, 2022. Stencel and Ingle spoke with members of the CST and observed their joint operations with local, state, and federal authorities. The teams conducted ongoing threat assessments and regular sweeps of the area to help ensure the safety of all participants and observers at the event. The World Track and Field Championships ran from July 15-24, and it was the first time the Championships have been held in the United States.
