PACIFIC OCEAN (Aug. 7, 2022) - U.S. Marines with All Domain Reconnaissance, 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit, conduct a communications check aboard amphibious transport dock USS Anchorage (LPD 23) prior to insertion for a reconnaissance and surveillance exercise, Aug. 7. The Navy-Marine Corps team, capable of both rapid response and sustained operations globally, remains America’s most persistent and versatile military instrument. Marines and Sailors of the 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) and Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) are underway conducting integrated training operations in U.S. 3rd Fleet.
