220928-N-XB010-1012 SUBIC BAY, Philippines (Sept. 28, 2022) – Sailors assigned to the forward-deployed amphibious transport dock ship USS New Orleans (LPD 18) handle line on the forecastle to moor the ship in Subic Bay, Philippines. New Orleans, part of the Tripoli Amphibious Ready Group, along with the 31st MEU, is operating in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of responsibility to enhance interoperability with allies and partners and serve as a ready response force to defend peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
