Rear Adm. Peter Stamatopoulos, commander, Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP)/Chief of Supply Corps, awards the Legion of Merit to Capt. Gene Cash for exceptionally meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding service as commanding officer, NAVSUP Business Systems Center (BSC) from April 2020 to October 2022. During the ceremony, Capt. David D. Carnal relieved Cash as commanding officer, NAVSUP BSC. Cash will retire following more than 28 years of service as a Navy Supply Corps Officer.
