Alameda, CA - Chief Operations Specialist James Jenkins has his anchors pinned by his family aboard the USS Hornet (CV 12) museum ship Oct. 22, 2022. Fourteen northern California chief petty officers (CPO) had their anchors pinned and donned their CPO covers for the first time in front of their fellow CPOs, command leadership, family, and friends. CPOs pinned are from Navy Reserve Center (NRC) Alameda, NRC Sacramento, NRC San Jose, and Fleet Air Reconnaissance Squadron 3 Detachment Travis Air Force Base.
