    Trident Refit Facility Bangor

NAVAL BASE KITSAP – BANGOR, Wash. (Oct. 26, 2022) Ed Ingles, executive director of Trident Refit Facility Bangor (TRFB) discusses the capabilities of the command’s periscope shop with Capt. Mark Parrella (right), program manager for the Columbia class ballistic missile submarine and Capt. Tim Clark, program manager for in-service ballistic missile submarines. The discussion centered on the upgrades needed in order to be ready to maintain the Ohio-class replacement boats scheduled to enter service in the coming years. TRFB employs more than 2,000 civilian & military personnel in support of our nation’s strategic deterrent mission by repairing, incrementally overhauling, and modernizing ballistic missile submarines in the Pacific Fleet.
