SAN DIEGO (Nov. 1, 2022) – Sailors remove chains connecting the stern gate to a Landing Craft Utility (LCU) assigned to Amphibious Craft Unit (ACU) 1 in the well deck aboard amphibious assault ship USS Makin Island (LHD 8), Nov. 1.
