U.S. Army personnel attached to 63rd Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) Company, 48th Chemical Brigade, assigned to Fort Campbell, Kentucky and 581st Area Support Medical Company, 61st Multi-functional Medical Battalion, 1st Medical Brigade, prepare for Exercise Vista Forge, Nov. 2 in Atlanta. Military units comprising of chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear (CBRN) Response Force (DCRF) participate in this long-planned, annual exercise which enhances the Department of Defense’s ability to coordinate with local, state, and other federal agencies to save lives and mitigate human suffering during a catastrophic incident through urban search and rescue, and mass casualty decontamination.
