Chayne Sparagowski, Operations Battalion Chief of Atlanta-Fulton County Emergency Management Agency, welcomes and gives guidance to the exercise participants prior at the start of Exercise Vista Forge, Nov. 2, in Atlanta. Military units comprising of chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear (CBRN) Response Force (DCRF) participate in this long-planned, annual exercise which enhances the Department of Defense’s ability to coordinate with local, state, and other federal agencies to save lives and mitigate human suffering during a catastrophic incident through urban search and rescue, and mass casualty decontamination.
