KINGS BAY, Ga., (Nov. 4, 2022) Tony Faella, a WWII submarine veteran, smiles with joy as the crowd sings happy birthday at the Submarine Veterans of WWII Memorial on Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay. Faella, who turned 100 in September, served aboard the submarine USS Spearfish (SS 190), which earned 10 battle stars during the duration of the war.
