SOUTH CHINA SEA (Jan. 5, 2023) – U.S. Navy Sailors assigned to amphibious transport dock USS Anchorage (LPD 23) unload a package from an MV-22B Osprey with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 362 (Rein.), 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit, Jan. 5. The ability to operate seamlessly and simultaneously on the sea, ashore, and in the air represents the unique value of the amphibious capability provided by the Navy-Marine Corps team. 7th Fleet is the U.S. Navy's largest forward-deployed numbered fleet, and routinely interacts and operates with Allies and partners in preserving a free and open Indo-Pacific region.
