SOUTH CHINA SEA (Jan. 5, 2023) – A U.S. Marine Corps MV-22B Osprey crew chief with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 362 (Rein.), 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit, prepares to receive Marines aboard amphibious transport dock USS Anchorage (LPD 23), Jan. 5. The ability to operate seamlessly and simultaneously on the sea, ashore, and in the air represents the unique value of the amphibious capability provided by the Navy-Marine Corps team. 7th Fleet is the U.S. Navy's largest forward-deployed numbered fleet, and routinely interacts and operates with Allies and partners in preserving a free and open Indo-Pacific region.
