SOUTH CHINA SEA (Jan. 5, 2023) – U.S. Marine Corps pilots with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 362 (Rein.), 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit, fly MV-22B Osprey to the flight deck of amphibious transport dock USS Anchorage (LPD 23), Jan. 5. The ability to operate seamlessly and simultaneously on the sea, ashore, and in the air represents the unique value of the amphibious capability provided by the Navy-Marine Corps team. 7th Fleet is the U.S. Navy's largest forward-deployed numbered fleet, and routinely interacts and operates with Allies and partners in preserving a free and open Indo-Pacific region.
