SOUTH CHINA SEA (Jan. 6, 2023) – U.S. Marines with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 362 (Rein.), 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit, conduct flight operations aboard amphibious transport dock USS John P. Murtha (LPD 26), Jan, 6. The mobility and sustainability provided by amphibious platforms enable the Navy-Marine Corps team to extend the reach of our capabilities. 7th Fleet is the U.S. Navy's largest forward-deployed numbered fleet, and routinely interacts and operates with Allies and partners in preserving a free and open Indo-Pacific region.
