Army ROTC Cadet Nicholas Reed, Georgia Tech University, practices weapon familiarization at the Petting Zoo event on January 27 at Fort Benning, Ga. During this four-hour period, Ranger Challenge teams travel to different events to receive instruction and the opportunity for practice and questions. The Petting Zoo is the team’s only chance to ask questions on specific events. The 6th Brigade Ranger Challenge runs January 27-29 and sees the top ten teams from across the brigade competing in a series of team-based physical events for a chance to represent the “Titan” brigade in the Sandhurst Military Skills Competition hosted by the U.S. Military Academy at West Point in April. | Photo by Sarah Windmueller, U.S. Army Cadet Command Public Affairs
