Cadet JC Simmonds, Florida A&M University, competes in the Weapons Assembly portion of the Ranger Stakes event during the 6th Brigade Army ROTC Ranger Challenge on January 28 at Fort Benning, Ga. After competing in events from the previous day and rucking close to 8 miles, Cadets had a mandatory four-hour rest period before tackling the remaining events. The Ranger Challenge runs January 27-29 and sees the top ten teams from across the brigade competing in a series of team-based physical events for a chance to represent the “Titan” brigade in the Sandhurst Military Skills Competition hosted by the U.S. Military Academy at West Point in April. | Photo by Sarah Windmueller, U.S. Army Cadet Command Public Affairs
