U.S. Marine Corps Warrant Officer James Pennington, 3rd Radio Battalion, 3rd Marine Expeditionary Forces, receives the Gunner’s Trophy award for achieving the highest overall score in both pistol and rifle individual match during the Marine Corps Marksmanship Competition, Pacific (MCMCP), Marines Corps Base Hawaii, Feb. 3, 2023. The MCMCP is one of four division matches throughout the U.S. Marine Corps in which U.S. Service members and the Pacific's best shooters participate in a small arms marksmanship competition each year.
