U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. David Talmage, pararescuemen, attached to the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA) digs a test pit with Thai forest rangers during an investigation mission in Lampang province, Kingdom of Thailand, Feb. 11, 2023. This mission is DPAA’s effort to investigate the location a missing service member from a crash site during World War II in order to set the conditions for a future recovery mission.
