U.S Marines with Battalion Landing Team 1/6, 26th Marine Expeditionary Force set security from within a High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMAR) during a live fire raid as part of PHIBRON/MEU integration (PMINT), on Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, Feb. 3, 2023. The raid was the culminating event for MEU EX II, following Amphibious Squadron/Marine Expeditionary Unit Exercise. The raid integrated multiple elements of the Marine Air Ground Task Force with live-fire events and showcased the MEU’s ability to execute a beach landing from ship-to-shore off the coast utilizing amphibious craft.
